Welcome to

Our Partners

For Tribal Comfort, a good partnership is about more than products and price. It is about people, trust and shared values.

Our relationships in China have been built by being on the ground, meeting people face to face, visiting factories and taking the time to understand not only what a company produces, but who they are and what they stand for.

In Foshan, China, we are working within one of the world’s largest furniture manufacturing and distribution regions. The scale is enormous, with thousands of manufacturers, suppliers and products to navigate. Finding a factory is easy. Finding the right people to build a long-term relationship with takes time.

That is important to us.

One of the strongest relationships we have developed came from discovering that, despite coming from different countries and cultures, our organisations shared very similar values. During COVID-19, this company was recognised with a number of awards for the way it supported and cared for people through an incredibly difficult period.

When we shared our own experiences during COVID and talked about the importance we place on looking after people and communities, there was an immediate connection.

We realised that although our organisations were separated by thousands of kilometres, the values behind what we were trying to achieve were remarkably similar.

Those are the relationships Tribal Comfort wants to build.

Of course, quality, affordability, reliability and manufacturing capability are important. But we also want to know the people behind the products. We want partners who value relationships, stand behind what they produce and understand that business can have a purpose beyond simply making a profit.

We have also established connections in Nantong, one of China’s major home-textile manufacturing centres. This has provided access to manufacturers and suppliers producing quality linen, bedding and textile products for international markets, including the premium hotel sector.

Our network will continue to grow. Every visit introduces us to new people, new factories, new products and new opportunities. We are learning which manufacturers share our standards, which relationships have the potential to endure, and where we can create opportunities that work for both sides.

Being there matters.

It allows us to walk through the factories, see how products are made, meet the people behind the businesses and build genuine relationships rather than simply purchasing from a catalogue.

We are not looking for hundreds of suppliers.

We are looking for the right partners – people and organisations whose quality, integrity and values align with ours, and with whom we can build relationships that last.
